Phelps originally purchased the home in late 2015 for $2.53 million, but has now placed it on the market for $4.125 million. The Santa-Barbara style house hosts five bedrooms and six and a half baths, totaling 6,010 square feet. The house also includes four fireplaces, a 350-bottle wine room, and more. Outside, the backyard looks out at Camelback Mountain and includes orange, tangerine, lemon, lime, peach, and apple trees.
In addition to the Phelps family, many well known names within the swimming community have also spent time at the Phelps’ home in Paradise Valley. This includes long-time coach, mentor, and now-grandfather Bob Bowman, fellow Olympian Allison Schmitt, and Australian legend Grant Hackett.
Nothing has been mentioned as to where the Phelps will be relocating to at this time. Phelps’ mother still resides in Baltimore, where he was born and raised.
